Innovative battery charging technology

Battery charging on oil platforms and supply ships is a particularly challenging procedure as it has to be carried out in ex-protected zones. To make life easier and safer, Sichelschmidt has developed a charging box which protects the battery and charging device from the surrounding environment. Should the box be opened during charging, the process is immediately interrupted, guaranteeing secure battery charging in potentially explosive environments.
